CORONA POEMS (3a)

In Zeiten von distance learning wurde auch in Englisch ein kreativer Arbeitsauftrag erteilt. Um die Verwendung von „be allowed to“ und „let“ zu üben, haben die Schülerinnen und Schüler der 3.Klasse Gedichte verfasst, in denen nicht nur klar wird, was derzeit erlaubt ist und was zu unterlassen ist, aber auch was die Maßnahmen für ihren persönlichen Alltag bedeuten. Hier ein paar Beispiele:

It`s corona time
Going outside would be a crime
So I stay at home
Using my homework chrome
At least I´m allowed to play games
But not being allowed to go out is strange
This poem is getting long
And my headache is really strong

I’m not allowed to go outside.
I’m not allowed to meet my friends.
I’m not allowed to shake hands.
Many people are afraid,
that they are infected and it is too late.
Let us follow the government’s rule,
stay at home and work for school.

There is a virus, everywhere.
It brought trouble all over the world
and this theme got popular.
People are dying because of it,
But this won’t happen, if your immune system will be fit.
We aren’t allowed to go to school,
no, we have to stay at home all day.
A few people think that this is cool,
but to this kind of people I just say: Fool!
They let us do the exercises online
and I think that is really fine!
Now it’s my last rhyme, I must go to bed,
it’s after nine.
